
Reach Volunteering Brand Refresh
This branding project objective was to quickly review the state of the current Brand, refine it and produce a functional brand guide for the start of the next quarter.
This document is to be used by freelancers and the marketing department to ensure all content is cohesive and on brand.
I had an in-depth discussion with the head of marketing to understand the current situation (What is working and what is not) and define a route forward. I then reviewed all content and the old, now unused brand guideline as well as looking at similar brands in the wider marketplace.
The result was a short document that defined the core elements of the brand, such as colour palette/use, logo use, font pairings and visual hierarchy. Paired with general guidelines/toolkit for designers to creatively bring a project to life and allow the marketing team to review designs.
The document was completed and put into use for the next quarterly ad cycle, with good feedback regarding being functional. The client has concluded that they will need a more comprehensive rebrand in the future involving all the stakeholders.
